Fundamentals & Setups

Too simple to qualify as tricks by themselves, these moves are the most basic forms of the movements in tricking. Many of the fundamentals are elements in other disciplines - martial arts, gymnastics, etc. After all, these are the foundations of our sport!

Novice Tricks

These are the first moves that are difficult enough to qualify as tricks. Generally anyone with a high level of physical fitness can productively train these tricks, although it may take a few sessions for a completely new tricker to land any one of them.

Beginner Tricks

This is the stage where you truly become a tricker, rather than merely someone who can do a few tricks. By now you will have experienced the pains of repping a trick that's giving you trouble, as well as the joys of landing a new trick and the rush of surpassing your limits. Welcome to the club!

Intermediate Tricks

The scope of what you can do begins to widen exponentially at this stage, as you begin to unlock new tricks, setups, variations, and transitions. Tricking takes on a whole new feeling of freedom & flow, and your personal style begins to develop.
